CEO Sundar Pichai made headlines this week urging users not to "blindly trust" AI, acknowledging that models are "prone to errors" and you need to use other tools to check the output. It is so important that we differentiate between 'clerical AI' and LLMs and the technology used in Industrial AI. LLMs can get you 90-95% of the way there in terms of accuracy and that is tolerable if the last 10% means a quick edit to an email. In complex, high-stakes industries like automotive, aerospace and generation, however, reliability and precision are non-negotiable. 🏃➡️ Western automakers are falling behind China on design velocity, admits General Motors Automotive Holdings SL. In a new interview, Mark Reuss highlighted how Chinese manufacturers are rapidly adopting new innovations, allowing them to roll out new vehicles quickly and cheaply. According to Dominic Vergine, Monumo CEO: “You can’t speed up your design cycles if your processes are still siloed.
