Monumo wins Just Auto Excellence Awards 2025

Monumo, a technology business coupling deeptech innovation with traditional engineering to redesign the electric motor, has won dual awards for Innovative Electric Motor Design and Sustainability at the Just Auto Excellence Awards 2025. The awards recognise the company’s contributions to innovation and sustainability in the automotive sector.

By combining Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) with traditional engineering expertise, Monumo’s Anser® Engine is revolutionising electric motor design. The Engine runs hundreds of thousands of simulations a day, enabling the team to create optimal motor designs at a system level. As a result, Monumo is currently creating motor designs that overcome the multitude of barriers to widespread EV adoption, whether it’s cost, efficiency, or the use of environmentally damaging rare earth magnets. For example, in one of its most recent projects, the company was able to reduce the magnet mass in an electric motor by almost a quarter, with the associated cost savings this delivers.

The 2025 Just Auto Excellence Awards recognise the people and companies shaping the future of the automotive industry. The awards celebrate Monumo’s dedication to making a significant contribution to global de-carbonisation.
