During this 10-12 week internship, you’ll join our team at our Cambridge office, where you’ll take on meaningful tasks and contribute as a full team member.

You’ll gain experience in various technical real-life projects with the opportunity to learn and shape how we do our work.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with members of other teams to understand their requirements and implement solutions.
  • Contributing to the production of simulation code.
  • Developing your knowledge and understanding in maths, physics, engineering and machine learning.
  • Participating in impactful projects. Past interns, for example, created new data visualisations which made it quicker and easier to learn from experimental results and allowed new people to contribute to the process.

What We’re Looking For

To be eligible for this internship, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience programming in Python
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for computational and theoretical work.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to collaborate well in a team.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or a valid UK student visa.
