Coventry Internship | Prototype Team

Coventry, UK

Internship

During this 10-12 week internship, you’ll join our Prototyping team at our Coventry office, where you’ll take on meaningful tasks and contribute as a full team member.

You’ll work on motor testing, characterisation, and lab data processing, gaining experience in various practical and technical aspects.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Using lab test and measurement equipment to perform experiments and gather data.
  • Writing software to control experiments and process results, with potential opportunities to work in Python, C++, and other relevant languages.
  • Participating in impactful projects. Past interns, for example, developed a motor test rig to profile drone propulsion systems — designing PCBs, programming embedded microcontrollers, and writing data post-processing scripts.

Why Join Us?

  • Hands-on Experience: Work with real equipment and contribute directly to projects that are crucial to our company.
  • Mentorship and Growth: Learn from industry experts and build skills in high-demand areas like embedded systems, data analysis, and motor design. You’ll work in an inclusive environment that emphasises support, learning, and growth.
  • Impactful Work: Help shape the future of sustainable technology and make a real difference in the fight against climate change. Join a fast-growing, mission-driven environment where your contributions matter.

Flexible Options: We understand the importance of work-life balance, so we aim to offer flexible working hours where possible.
