Anser Engine, the all-in-one unique solution to electric motor design
For every one of the hundreds of thousand designs we consider every 24 hrs, we take into account all the key factors that influence an electric motors real-world performance.
Performance and efficiency analysis
Knowing how each motor behaves across all operating conditions helps us accurately model the motor’s maximum performance and calculate how it performs across a varied drive cycle. We consider AC/DC copper loss, core loss, magnet loss, mechanical losses, and we can include PWM effects when desired.
Multi-physics
We take into account electromagnetic, mechanical and thermal effects when simulating electric motors. These different aspects have complex interactions which need to be considered to achieve accurate results.

System-level
Anser looks to not only optimise components such as motor geometry, inverter or gearbox within the EDU, but can optimise system as one, making complex trade-offs to achieve the first-in-class optimisation you seek.
Specialist simulations
We run targeted simulations to fully understand the performance and behaviour of our proposed candidate designs. This gives us confidence that the simulations accurately reflect the performance of the final manufactured product.
Manufacturability & performance
By understanding the manufacturing process and its effect on performance, including factors such as lamination stamping limits, we can account for these very early in the design process. This helps Anser's optimisation capability to only recommend designs which can be built to current manufacturing standards.
Scalability
Anser was built for a new era of data. A single optimisation run can investigate hundreds of thousands of e-motor candidates in order to find optimal designs and highlight trade-offs between important performance metrics.
