There are a few reasons behind my investment, foremost which is the team behind it – we have a potent group of talents here, with sound leadership. I’ve worked well with Martin previously, and I’m confident that with this new group we can create something greater than the sum of its parts. While the traction motors and inverters space is highly interesting, and the timing is good, I believe there will be more to Monumo than just that. I’m intrigued to see where this leads us.
Steve is a highly regarded Mechanical Engineer who’s career has encompassed both Jaguar and Mclaren – he was one of the six-person team responsible for the iconic McLaren F1 car.
As Founder of Randle Engineering, he has a strong track record of innovation and IP development in the automotive sector.
He also worked with Martin Frost at the formation of Cambridge Medical Robotics.
