Given the climate crisis, the future must be electrified and it must be optimised far beyond what we imagined in the past. I feel really excited and privileged to have the opportunity to work in such a multidisciplinary and diverse team as we strive to make a meaningful impact on future sustainability.
Rob has always tried to combine his background in mathematics with his keen interest in physics. In his academic career he has worked on diverse applications from electron microscopy, to super-resolution microscopy, to simulation of classical physics with machine learning. He enjoys working at the intersection of optimisation, computer science, and physical modelling, and is excited to continue this in his role at Monumo.
