Project description

The aim of this project is to enhance our motor test, measurement and simulation capabilities for rapid testing and performance evaluation of our state-of-the-art motor technology.

You will have the opportunity to work in the following areas:
• Integrating our software-in-the-loop controller testing infrastructure into MATLAB to allow our embedded control algorithms to be evaluated with MATLAB and SIMULINK models.
• Support motor testing through writing automation and analysis software to benchmark our novel motor designs and evaluate the performance against simulation numbers. This will involve using lab equipment.
The specific tasks and emphasis on the above two areas will be tailored to the candidate skillset and interests.

Qualification and preferred skills

Candidates should have some programming experience, be comfortable in a lab environment and have a passion for engineering and developing future technologies.

Having experience in one of the following would be considered a bonus:
• Scripting languages, such as Python
• C/C++
• Embedded systems/microcontrollers
• Control theory

We welcome open-minded curious learners to apply. It does not matter if you do not know everything, we are here to support.
